Summary:
We were engaged to design & build a kitchen extension, living room extension & front porch in an existing semi-detached 2 storey dwelling.
The design incorporated a kitchen extension to the rear in conjunction with internal alterations to create an open plan kitchen living & dining area. A separate extension added to the side of the dwelling in order to make the existing living room bigger .
A modest contemporary porch forms a new entrance to the front of the dwelling. The form and materials used provide an interesting contrast between new and existing.
