Summary:
We were employed to design and build a small extension to the side of this existing 2 storey dwelling to incorporate a lounge area/ playroom. Our brief also included a new utility room which is located to the rear of the dwelling adjoining the existing garage.
The lounge extension incorporates large amounts of glazing and a bespoke sliding door giving a light filled space adjacent to the heart of the existing house.
The construction works also involved externally insulating the dwelling and installing triple glazed windows/doors throughout the house. A heat recovery ventilation system was also installed making the dwelling more comfortable and energy efficient.
